New Chief Executive and
hand-over of the keys

Jonathan Bryant, chair of AIM (the UK Association of Independent
Museums), has recently taken on the role of Chief Executive to
coordinate the diverse activities required to ensure the museum
opens to the public in 1997.

The new
River and Rowing Museum building is about to be made available to
museum staff to start the process of fitting-out to make the
building into a real museum, opening in 1997.
The construction contractor, Norwest Holst, are due to hand over
the keys for the building this month.
