Sound archive

This archive contains sounds in Sun audio format. It is available via anonymous FTP. An index and a README file are available. See also alt.binaries.sounds.misc and other related newsgroups from where much of the information here was collected.

You may sample a chicken, cow, dog, duck, elephant, horse, pig or sheep, directly if you wish, or try a little toccata or even some Latin. The standard Sun demonstration sounds are also available.

If you can play SND and WAV format sound files, try the example sounds for the Network Audio System.
