(New) ZUM'94 was held on 29-30 June 1994 at St. John's College, University of Cambridge, United Kingdom. The meeting was held in association with BCS FACS and was supported by the ESPRIT ProCoS-WG Working Group as one of its open meetings. Copies of the poster are still available.

The invited speakers were David Garlan (CMU), Mike Gordon (Cambridge), Leslie Lamport (DEC SRC), Jim Woodcock (Oxford), Robert Worden (Logica), and Maurice Wilkes (Olivetti) as an after dinner speaker. The meeting was held 45 years to the week after the first ever European conference on computer science held at the same location in 1949, at which Prof. Wilkes' (New) EDSAC computer was discussed. A small display of some historical memorabilia was on view at the meeting.

A report on the meeting is available. Tutorials were held on the two days preceding the meeting and a special session on educational issues was also held on 1 July 1994.
